Job summary

LJC Design & Engineering seeks a Project Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering integrated design projects across industries. You will oversee engineering disciplines from concept through construction administration, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule alignment.

You will coordinate engineers, architects, and designers, manage scope, risk, and client relationships, and contribute to proposals and client discussions. Travel to client sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering design, construction, or project management.
• 2+ years of experience managing design or project teams.
• Broad knowledge of advanced manufacturing, F&B, consumer, or ecommerce environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communicator with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of design-build delivery and client decision-making drivers.
• Willingness to travel to client or project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers, architects, and designers to meet client and industry standards.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to align with client goals.
• Ensure design quality through implementation of project quality reviews.
• Serve as primary point of contact for the client and foster strong relationships.
• Oversee submittal and RFI review, and perform site visits to confirm design intent.
• Support business development via proposals, presentations, and client discussions.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and proactive, solutions-driven approach.
