Job summary

MBA Energy & Industrial is seeking a Design Project Manager to serve as the key liaison between design and construction, managing projects from concept to completion. You will ensure design intent aligns with constructability, client requirements, and quality standards in an integrated design-build environment.

Responsibilities cover design through field coordination, collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams across the U.S. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (required).
• 8+ years of professional design experience under a licensed architect.
• Experience from schematic design through construction administration.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, integrated design-build environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design projects from schematic design through construction documentation and completion.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including internal architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• Translate design concepts into buildable, accurate construction documents meeting codes and requirements.
• Oversee production of drawings, specifications, and submittals with quality and schedule adherence.
• Review codes and ensure design compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and value-engineering discussions.
• Provide ongoing support to construction teams during the build phase, maintaining design intent.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with organization and clear communication.
• Travel to project sites across the U.S. as needed for field coordination and client engagement.
