Job summary

Solidigm is seeking a Design Automation / Library Characterization Engineer to lead library flows for NAND/ASIC programs at its Rancho Cordova, CA site. You will drive end-to-end characterization, develop scalable automation, and ensure QA for library views while enabling frontend flows with synthesis and STA integration.

You will collaborate with RTL, backend, PDK, and CAD teams to support tapeouts and delivery of production-ready libraries, with 5+ years in related fields and strong scripting

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in standard cell library characterization and validation.
• 5+ years in design automation and EDA flow development.
• Hands-on with digital frontend flows including synthesis and STA.
• Strong scripting in Python, Perl, Tcl, and Bash for flow development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end standard cell library characterization and delivery of production collaterals.
• Develop and maintain scalable DA automation frameworks.
• Build QA/validation infra for library views and timing data.
• Support DFE enablement with synthesis and timing signoff in mind.
• Create multi-release comparisons across process/voltage corners.
• Contribute to PnR and full-chip flows from netlist to GDS.
