Job summary

Gentex Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer I to support systems design, test, and analysis in product development and manufacturing.

You will contribute to system architectures, conduct tests, and ensure alignment with Gentex quality standards while learning and applying analysis tools. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; master’s degree and experience in new product development are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Professional work experience in new product development (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support systems design in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products.
• Contribute to system architectures including interface definition and description.
• Conduct system tests using procedures and methods for system verification and validation.
• Learn analysis and simulation tools to aid in system design and test.
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews.
• Follow Gentex system engineering processes and ensure products meet Gentex quality standards.
• Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.
