Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 2 for a 1-year contract. The role is performed through a Boeing-approved third party and is not a direct Boeing full-time position.

Responsibilities include developing and documenting moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements, designing hardware/software interfaces, and validating designs. The role may require supporting a second shift (3 pm–12 am) on occasion.

Qualifications

• Experience with configuration management and HIL testing.
• Familiar with 1553 and 429 data bus architectures.
• Willingness to support second shift (3 pm–12 am).

Contract (1 year)

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Required Skill sets:

• Familiar with configuration management
• Experience with Hardware in the loop testing
• Familiar with 1553 data bus and 429 data bus
• Hardware auditing or audit processes
• Willingness to support second shift on occasion (3 pm - 12 am)
