Job summary

Perini Management Services Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support a high-profile project in Death Valley National Park, CA. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, helping plan, budget, and schedule while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes coordination of design documents, procurement, and on-site execution. Travel and relocation near the project location are expected, with opportunities to contribute to diverse construction efforts

Qualifications

• Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management degree or equivalent experience.
• Work experience as Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore.
• Willing to travel and relocate near the project location.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Project planning and coordination with architects and engineers through all construction phases.
• Develop project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans; review design documents for constructability.
• Maintain the project schedule and progress tracking; manage change orders and scope changes.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, owner, and security for access and logistics.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and enforce safety standards.
• Document meetings, track actions, decisions, submittals, and RFIs; support QC inspections.
