Job summary

Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Front Office Associate to support daily audit functions, room and tax postings, and front desk operations at our newly renovated property in Palm Springs. This part-time role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to learn and contribute to guest satisfaction while adhering to accounting policies.

Responsibilities include posting accuracy, occasional night audit tasks, and ensuring guests receive prompt, warm, and professional

Qualifications

• Ability to complete daily front office audit tasks and accurate posting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in room and tax postings.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with guest service mindset and clear communication.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Perform all daily audit functions for front office and each outlet of the hotel.
• Review room and tax posting on computer or register for accuracy, immediately correcting any errors.
• Complete back-up of front office computer system and night audit program daily (if applicable).
• Complete the rebuild of the front office system, reservation and other related computer maintenance (if applicable).
• Understand, know and follow management company's accounting and credit policies and procedures.
• Responsible for all front desk functions including check-ins, check-outs, payments, reservations, PBX operation, answering calls within 3 rings, etc.
