Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail to identify risk factors in credit evaluations.
• Ability to think critically and make informed decisions from credit data.
• Effective written and verbal communication to convey findings to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality credit presentations and annual reviews for internal and external approval authorities.
• Use customer information to create consistent financial spreads and analyses.
• Analyze financial spreads with emphasis on borrower activity.
• Identify material changes and trends in balance sheets and income statements.
• Complete deal-specific and global cash flow analyses.
• Assess collateral adequacy for loan facilities.
• Create reader-friendly credit presentations that reflect Equity Bank’s true position.
• Manage relationships with Loan Officers and coordinate information requests.
• Communicate with customers, CPAs, and advisors to obtain needed data.
• Ensure accuracy of credit applications and annual reviews for approvals.
• Familiarize with loan policy, underwriting guidelines, and credit procedures.
• Understand commercial loan types and real estate appraisals.
• Develop and maintain positive professional image for Equity Bank.
• Handle reports and related projects, including covenant monitoring and reporting.
