Job summary

The University of Miami Health System Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites two Open Rank Faculty physicians with Dermatopathology expertise to join our academic medical center in Miami, FL. These roles support patient care at UMH, JMH, and affiliated satellites with a strong emphasis on teaching and research.

Ideal candidates will hold an MD/DO with Board Certification/Eligible in AP or AP/CP and subspecialty Dermatopathology fellowship; fellowship in additional subspecialties

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required; Board Certified/Eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with Dermatopathology fellowship.
• Fellowship training in Dermatopathology preferred.
• Experience in surgical pathology and intraoperative consultations welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnostic interpretations in Dermatopathology and related subspecialties.
• Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards and disease-site conferences.
• Deliver educational lectures and advanced instruction to medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
• Perform intraoperative frozen sections and participate in call coverage as assigned.
• Contribute to departmental quality assurance activities and translational research.
