Job summary

University of California, Irvine Health's Department of Dermatology seeks a highly organized Dermatopathology Business Manager to coordinate day-to-day administrative and business operations of the Dermatopathology Laboratory, supporting patient care across UCI Health and the broader community.

Under leadership, the role analyzes revenues and expenses, prepares reports, tracks KPIs, supports budgeting, and identifies opportunities for operational improvement; it also drives client relations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and / or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to lead discussions and present effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and business operations of the Dermatopathology Laboratory.
• Support operational workflows and maintain high quality service delivery across UCI Health and the community.
• Assist with financial management: monitor revenues/expenses, prepare reports, track KPIs, support budgeting.
• Support business development, client relationship management, contract administration, and outreach initiatives.
