Job summary

UCSF Health's ambulatory dermatology unit seeks a Registered Nurse to support the Mohs surgery program, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under nurse manager guidance and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years RN clinical experience in an Ambulatory Clinic setting.
• Must have minimum 3 years RN experience with punch and shave biopsies in Dermatology Ambulatory Clinic.
• Must have minimum 3 years RN Mohs surgery experience in Dermatology Ambulatory Clinic.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Assist with Mohs surgery, BCC/SCC excisions, laser procedures and cosmetic treatments.
• Administer medications and support patient education in outpatient setting.
• Maintain EMR documentation and ensure accurate information flow between departments.
