Job summary

Apex Skin, a rapidly growing dermatology practice in Northeast Ohio, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for the Canton A & B locations. You will lead day-to-day operations, oversee clinical and administrative staff, and drive performance across budgets, scheduling, and patient care processes.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong financial acumen, and a focus on improving patient experiences from check-in through follow-up. Travel between offices is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare operations or management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in revenue cycle management and insurance operations.
• Advanced communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office (Excel), and reporting tools.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and implement operational improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Admin, Business, or clinical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall practice operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient care.
• Serve as the primary operational partner to providers, Supervisors, and leadership.
• Manage clinical and administrative staff including hiring, onboarding, and development.
• Foster a high-performing culture through communication, coaching, and accountability.
• Drive performance by managing operational, financial, and quality metrics.
• Analyze data and implement improvement plans to meet goals.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for patient care.
• Ensure timely provider documentation, lab, and pathology workflows.
• Monitor OSHA, HIPAA, MIPS, regulatory requirements, and policies.
