Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee multiple dermatology offices in Hampton Roads and Southern Virginia, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, and Newport News.

You will lead daily operations, supervise clinical and administrative teams, and partner with physicians to drive operational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Information Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare management or medical practice management experience required.
• Dermatology experience is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of one primary office and multiple satellite locations throughout Southern Virginia.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for front office, clinical, and administrative staff.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop employees while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership to improve operational performance, patient satisfaction, and overall practice growth.
• Monitor provider schedules to maximize patient access, provider productivity, operational efficiency, and clinic productivity.
• Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities to improve workflow, patient experience, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA (when applicable), company policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage office budgets, inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing.
• Travel regularly between assigned practice locations to provide operational support and leadership.
