Bassett Healthcare Network in upstate New York seeks a full or part-time BC/BE Dermatologist to join a busy practice. Outpatient dermatology with no call; collaborative team of 3 dermatologists (including a Mohs surgeon) and tele-derm; teaching opportunities with Columbia University affiliates.

Compensation includes a salary range of $500,000–$600,000, sign-on up to $150,000, a $45,000 residency/fellowship stipend, CME time and comprehensive benefits; location options across Cooperstown,

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS degree with board certification in Dermatology or eligibility
• Completion of an accredited USA Dermatology residency
• New York medical license or eligibility to obtain
• BC/BE certification or eligibility
• BLS certification and DEA registration

Responsibilities

• Outpatient dermatology practice with no call requirement
• Collaborative department with Mohs surgeon and tele-dermatology
• Opportunity for pediatric, procedural, laser and cosmetic dermatology
• Teaching opportunities with Columbia University affiliates
• Mentoring and support staff available
• Virtual scribe available if desired

Overview:

Bassett Healthcare Network, is seeking a full or part time BC/BE Dermatologist to join its busy practice.

• Salary Range: $500,000 - $600,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $150,000
• $45,000 additional residency/fellowship stipend
• Location: Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Join a highly collaborative Dermatology department team of 3 Dermatologists, which include a Mohs surgeon and Tele dermatologist, and 5 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
• Outpatient practice
• No Call Requirement
• Virtual Scribe if desired
• Full support staff
• Optional teaching opportunities with Columbia Medical Students and Bassett’s Internal Medicine and Surgical Residents

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $500,000 - $600,000
• This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $150,000
• $45,000 additional residency/fellowship stipend
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment
