Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3+ years in customer service (including clinical exposure), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience, including at least 6 months in a clinical environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments by phone or in person.
• Provides information about clinic operations and patient resources.
• Obtains and updates patient demographics.
• Answers calls and directs to the appropriate staff.
• Coordinates multi-service referrals and communicates with nursing/provider teams.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, secures referrals, and follows up on referrals.
