Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Part-Time Patient Coordinator for the Norwich office. The role handles front-office duties, supports patients, providers, and staff, and requires healthcare experience.

Availability is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within 7am–7pm, and willingness to cover in a team environment is essential. Prior dermatology/medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Experience is required.
• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable and dedicated employee.
• Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently and efficiently handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks and online leads.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance service and care.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
