Job summary

QualDerm Partners LLC in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Mohs Surgery Medical Assistant to support Mohs procedures, prep patients, assist with documentation, and ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for during visits. You will work normal business hours, be part of a collaborative clinical team, and contribute to a high-quality dermatology practice.

Dermatology experience is required; Mohs or surgical dermatology background is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience is required.
• Mohs or surgical dermatology experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Mohs surgery, taking histories and vital signs.
• Assist surgeons with instruments and setup during procedures.
• Maintain sterile and safe surgical environment.
• Provide post-operative instructions and care guidance.
• Document interactions and procedures in the EHR.
• Coordinate scheduling and follow-up visits with staff.
