Job summary

Integrated Dermatology of New Jersey in Spotswood, NJ seeks a reliable Medical Assistant to support clinical duties and front-desk responsibilities in a busy dermatology practice.

You will record patient histories, assist with procedures, manage EMR documentation, and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance while delivering compassionate patient care. Dermatology MOHS experience is a plus and flexible covering both part-time and full-time roles may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality.
• Dermatology or MOHS experience is a plus.
• Minor surgical procedures experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patient histories, vitals, and test results with confidentiality.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with medical/surgical procedures.
• Prepare MOHS paperwork and instruments; assist during procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Manage EMR documentation accurately and timely.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and perform front-desk duties.
• Handle prescription refills and communicate care instructions.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
