Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to support physicians in a busy dermatology practice. The role requires clinical, administrative, and patient-facing tasks with focus on accuracy and compassion.

Responsibilities include assisting with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, preparing rooms, scheduling, documenting treatments, and maintaining supplies. Prior dermatology or EMR experience is preferred; hours are under 30 per week.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Prepare rooms and check equipment before/after shifts.
• Record treatments, medications and prescriptions in guidelines.
• Manage inventory and supplies; perform basic administrative tasks.
• Provide a professional and welcoming atmosphere to patients.
