Job summary

Aspire Dermatology in Rhode Island is seeking professional, high energy Scribes/Medical Assistants to support patients with excellent quality of care. This multi-functional role blends clinical and administrative duties and requires flexibility to rotate across Aspire offices.

You will verify patient information, document medical history, assist with exams and procedures, manage scheduling and insurance tasks, and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assisting Program or CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA certification or 1 year MA experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology/Anatomy preferred
• Influenza vaccination is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and document medical history
• Assist with exams and procedures, sterilize equipment
• Schedule appointments and answer phones
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Enter lab results and monitor insurance/costs
• Rotates across Aspire offices (4-office minimum)
