Louisiana Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians by delivering high-quality patient care. You will room patients, update histories, document visit details, and assist with dermatology procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments.

You will also load patient information, manage referrals, assist with procedures, and handle basic administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years medical assistant experience, preferably dermatology.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Patient rooming and updating medical histories.
• Document visit details and chart notes.
• Assist with dermatology procedures (biopsies, surgeries, laser/Cosmetic treatments).
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Process prescriptions and manage prior authorizations.
• Log pathology samples and coordinate with labs.
