The role requires strict infection control, accurate charting, and teamwork across locations. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in dermatology and is proficient with MS Office, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be willing to travel to all locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to manage patient volume of up to 40 patients daily.
• Document patient histories, including HPI, medical/surgical/family history, medications, and allergies.
• Prepare and assist with dermatology procedures (biopsies, I&D, Botox, laser, excisions).
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control practices.
• Log pathology samples and coordinate with laboratories.
• Operate equipment such as Narrowband UVB and PDT units.
• Maintain and restock examination rooms and supplies.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
