Job summary

Water's Edge Dermatology in Florida seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians during patient visits, including consults and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to multitask, with experience in a clinical setting; dermatology or surgical exposure is preferred but not required.

You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist with sterilization, manage records in the EMR, and help with prescriptions and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Preferred Medical Assistant (MA) Certification, CST License, or LPN.
• Hands-on experience in a clinical setting; will train the right candidate.
• Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient visits, consults and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Assist with surgical procedures and sterilization of instruments.
• Review medical history and maintain records in EMR accurately and confidentially.
• Obtain appropriate consents and assist with prescriptions and administrative duties.
