Job summary

Riverchase Dermatology in Weston, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers during patient visits, including consults and surgical procedures. As part of AQUA Dermatology’s Southeast network, you will help prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain accurate EMR notes.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and dependable, with clinical experience; certification or LPN/CST preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and caring with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow provider instructions.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in delivering quality patient care.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Provide side-by-side assistance with surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and keep exam rooms clean and organized.
• Review medical history, document accurately in EMR, and maintain confidentiality.
• Obtain necessary patient consents.
• Handle prescription calls and patient follow-ups; assist with administrative duties.
