Job summary

Water's Edge Dermatology in Ocala, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers during patient visits, including consults and surgical procedures, and to maintain a clean, organized exam area.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail‑oriented, and able to multi‑task; MA certification, CST license, or LPN are preferred, though training is available. Travel between locations may be required. Full‑time shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient visits, including consults and procedures.
• Greet patients, prep for exams, and ensure exam rooms are clean and organized.
• Assist with sterilizing instruments and note‑taking in EMR.
• Obtain consents as needed and manage patient call backs.
• Handle basic administrative duties and prescription calls.
