Dermatology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Medical Providers in daily patient care and health care delivery at our Florida offices. You will document patient histories, assist with examinations, manage instruments and supplies, and help coordinate tests and referrals.

The role reports to the Office Administrator and requires strong patient communication, attention to detail, and ability to travel between main and satellite locations as needed.

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic and medical terminology.
• Ability to work with electronic medical record technology as a primary means documentation.
• Proficiency in the operation of a computer keyboard.

Responsabilidades

• Excellent patient experience across phone, in person, and online interactions.
• Document patient information accurately in health records and ensure same-day note completion.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, document history, chief complaint, and medications.
• Review and complete surgical documents with results to determine needed services.
• Coordinate with Medical Providers on incomplete tests/orders.
• Respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.
• Prepare, stock, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
• Sterilize instruments and ensure equipment availability for clinic.
• Assist with scheduling tests and referrals, process referrals to other providers.
• Maintain electronic patient records and perform needed documentation.
• Handle medication prior authorizations as necessary.
