Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED and current certification.
• One year medical experience in a physician’s office or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred; will train a highly-motivated new graduate.
• Maintenance of professional certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists Medical Providers with day-to-day patient care and medication management.
• Prepare patients for examination, document history, vital signs, and chief complaint.
• Administer injections and assist with examinations as needed.
• Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms and ensure sterile instruments.
• Handle e-prescriptions and coordinate referrals and tests.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with standards of conduct.
