Platinum Dermatology Partners is hiring a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics in Dallas. The role involves greeting patients, collecting histories, and assisting physicians with procedures and scribing in EMR.

You will prep rooms, manage specimens, and coordinate follow-ups in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a medical office, dermatology/cosmetic exposure, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is preferred.
• Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette and teamwork; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and use EMR effectively.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examinations.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician/provider in the room by scribing notes in the medical record.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Laboratory maintenance including cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
• Other duties as assigned to the back office.
