Job summary

Golden State Dermatology is seeking a per diem staff member in Mountain View, CA to support clinical and front-desk activities. You will prepare treatment rooms, review patient histories, and assist during dermatology procedures while maintaining records and supporting the office workflow.

The role emphasizes patient care, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced dermatology environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and patient-first approach.
• Experience in dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance carriers (Medicare, commercial, HMO) is advantageous.
• Experience with EMR systems such as EClinicalWorks or EMA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies.
• Ensure treatment rooms are cleaned and stocked at the end of the day.
• Review patient history, visit reason, medications, and notes in EMA.
• Ensure MIPS information is completed in the medical record.
• Assist with scheduling of tests and treatments for patients.
• Assist dermatology providers during surgical and cosmetic procedures.
• Support front desk by answering phones and scheduling patients.
• Perform autoclave spore testing and maintain maintenance records.
• Check medication expiration dates and manage biopsy records.
