Anne Arundel Dermatology in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our outpatient dermatology clinic. You will room patients, take vital signs, document intake in the EMR, and assist physicians with dermatology procedures while ensuring supplies are ready and stocked.

This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week. You should have a high school diploma or GED and MA training; dermatology experience is a plus and EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Dermatology experience a plus.
• MA certification or MA program completion preferred.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred.
• Experience in medical/clinical settings welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document intake in EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and support clinic operations.
• Prepare procedure trays and assist with dermatology procedures.
• Prepare and route pathology/lab specimens per insurance.
• Respond to patient questions and nurse line messages.
