Forefront Dermatology in Alabama is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a dermatologist in a fast-paced clinic. You will room patients, document vitals, scribe for the dermatologist, perform post-op wound care, draw blood, and help with exams and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Post-high school education in a medical support field is required.
• CMA/LPN/RN certifications or Forefront Derm Tech certification may be needed within specified timeframes for non-certified assistants.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-op wound care.
• Draw blood and remove sutures.
• Clean and stock the exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist the dermatologist with procedures (photos, biopsies, excisions, I&D, Mohs, phototherapy, injections, Koh preps, etc.).
