Job summary

The Dermatology Center of Dallas is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians in delivering patient care, including rooming, histories, and assisting with procedures. Responsibilities include preparing for procedures, assisting with dermatology and cosmetic treatments, scribing, refills, and maintaining sterile technique.

Travel to all locations may be required. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office, and reliable attendance;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel to all locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming and documenting visit details.
• Prepare and assist with dermatology and cosmetic procedures.
• Administer local anesthesia and remove sutures as directed.
• Perform scribing and input templates/chart notes as directed.
• Process prescription refills and manage prior authorizations.
