Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant who will provide multi-skilled patient care under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. The role supports the healthcare team and patient care management.

The position requires standing for long periods, strong communication, and the ability to learn center tasks while assisting physicians and staff. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in medical office.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Knowledge of HIPAA law.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information by interviewing patient and recording medical history.
• Enter medical history and visit information into EHR.
• Escort patients to exam room.
• Assist physician during medical examination and procedures.
• Schedule medical procedures and manage lab specimens.
