Forefront Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant to support dermatology patients in a fast-paced clinic in North Carolina. You will accompany the dermatologist, perform rooming, scribing, and basic patient care tasks, and ensure a smooth visit flow.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus
• Must keep current state certifications, licenses and/or registrations
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and EMR systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information
• Scribe information for the dermatologist
• Provide post op wound care to patients
• Draw blood and perform suture removal
• Clean and stock exam rooms
• Schedule patient appointments
• Assist dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, phototherapy and injections
