Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active Medical Assistant certification and BLS.
• Strong computer skills and interpersonal communication.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam by taking vital signs and documenting chief complaints.
• Assists with exams and minor procedures; takes blood pressure, temperature, and performs phlebotomy as needed.
• Coordinates patient care: pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, scheduling; communicates test results.
• Provides clerical support and ensures complete medical records and accurate billing information.
