Job summary

Newnan Dermatology seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Newnan, GA. You will support dermatologists in medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures, prepare patients, take vitals, and manage flow for timely visits. Proficiency with Modernizing Medicine EHR is preferred; CMA certification is a plus.

You will maintain accurate records, sterilize equipment, and coordinate appointments while upholding high standards of patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dermatologists with medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures.
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely visits.
• Take vitals and perform basic physical checks.
• Maintain records using Modernizing Medicine EHR.
