Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks Medical Assistant candidates at levels I–III across Houston. Roles involve patient care under supervision, with increasing clinical responsibilities at higher levels.

A strong foundation in medical terminology, basic nursing concepts, and computer skills is required. Level II and III add injectables, advanced tasks, and leadership duties; certification or more experience may be required for advancement.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience required with MA certification OR 1 year of MA experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Computer proficiency.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology.

Responsabilidades

• MA I: Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
• MA I: Ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
• MA I: Perform delegated tasks by physician or RN.
• MA II: Includes all MA I duties; administer injectables and advanced tasks.
• MA II: Requires additional experience and/or certification.
• MA III: Includes MA I & II duties; perform high-level clinical procedures; mentor staff.
