DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking motivated Medical Assistants for a 1–2 year gap-year opportunity in Ohio. You will support clinical teams with patient data collection, EMA EHR documentation, and procedural assistance, while gaining real-world healthcare experience for pre-PA or pre-Med tracks.

Ideal candidates are Bachelor’s degree students or recent grads with a passion for patient care, HIPAA knowledge, and teamwork. On-site roles include comprehensive benefits and hands-on mentorship.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Interested in pursuing a career in PA or Pre-Med is suitable.
• HIPAA regulations must be understood.
• Must work well in a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient information and collect medical history.
• Enter patient data into EMA EHR accurately.
• Guide patients through visits and assist physicians during exams.
• Perform clinical tasks including wound care, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies are ready.
