Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Chesterfield is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant for the Chesterfield 201 Office. The MA will support physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, manage patient flow, and perform clerical tasks in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

This role requires healthcare experience, dermatology exposure preferred, and competency with EMR and scheduling systems. Open weekdays and weekends with 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Open availability to work on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance service quality.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies and related items in the chart.
• Anticipate provider's next steps and facilitate patient flow.
• Prepare rooms and verify equipment at shift start.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Inventory and stocking of supplies; alert on low levels.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
