Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Marlton is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to perform clinical, medical and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere, assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, and manage records with EMR and scheduling systems. Availability Monday–Friday with some Saturdays within operating hours.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred
• Healthcare experience required
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems
• Must be computer savvy with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Open availability to work weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies and procedures
• Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate next steps
• Prep and sanitize rooms; check equipment at start of shift
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed
• Scan products and supplies and flag low stock to management
• Perform inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities
