Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Delran, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our dermatology team. The MA will perform clinical and clerical tasks, support physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, and ensure smooth patient flow in a busy office.

The ideal candidate has dermatology or healthcare experience, EMR and scheduling experience, and certification as a Medical Assistant. Weekly hours are posted and Friday/Saturday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred; healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR, scheduling systems, and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere for patients and providers.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, prescriptions and prior authorizations.
• Prepare rooms and ensure equipment is ready at shift start.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions.
• Manage inventory and stocking of medical supplies.
• Participate in in-house training and continued education.
