Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology clinics across Nevada. You will escort patients, document histories, assist physicians during exams, and help with biopsies and cosmetic procedures while keeping exam rooms clean and stocked.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of medical office experience (dermatology experience preferred) and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a Medical Assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for the examination.
• Assist the Physician/Provider in the room by scribing notes in the patient chart.
• Assist with setting up biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect pathology/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organization of exam rooms and stocking supplies.
• Back-office duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
