Platinum Dermatology Partners in Wellington, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will escort patients, document histories, assist physicians, and support biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in a medical office, dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred, and strong written/verbal communication, teamwork, and compassion. EMR proficiency and professional appearance are required.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office as a medical assistant.
• Prior Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.
• Quality written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette and teamwork.
• Professional appearance and mannerisms.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare them for examination.
• Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician/provider in the room by scribing notes.
• Assist with setting up biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and restocking of exam rooms; laboratory instrument maintenance.
• Other duties in the back office as assigned.
