Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in medical office preferred.
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist physicians.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is expected.
• Team player with patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and record medical history in EHR.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist during examinations.
• Take photographs and process prescriptions by phone to pharmacies.
• Schedule medical procedures and instruct patients on medication usage.
• Change wound dressings, perform basic phlebotomy, and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain supplies and complete nurse visit documentation.
