Qualifications

  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.

QualDerm Partners is excited to invite applications for the position of Dermatology Medical Assistant. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and gathering medical history.
  • Assist physicians during examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments are readily available.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with specimen handling.
  • Maintain and update accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Schedule appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
  • Provide patients with information on treatment plans and proper skincare practices.
  • Keep examination rooms clean and well-stocked with required supplies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with patients and team members.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software applications.
