Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of the medical assistant team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Prepare patients for examination by recording medical history and taking vital signs
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are ready and available
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring effective office communication
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication administration, and effective skincare practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in dermatology
• Leadership experience or supervisory skills are strongly preferred

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff
