Job summary

Organon is seeking a Field Medical Director to provide medical and scientific support for Dermatology programs. The field-based role engages with healthcare professionals and managed markets customers, sharing balanced information to support appropriate product use and identify investigators.

The position involves presenting data regionally and nationally, collaborating on medical communication plans, and traveling up to 50% to meet stakeholders and gather real-world insights that shape strategy.

Qualifications

• PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent clinical/academic training.
• 5 years clinical practice and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Able to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders in the assigned therapy area and geography.
• Maintain clinical, scientific and technical expertise in dermatology.
• Present data and engage in balanced peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with HCPs and investigators.
• Collaborate on scientific communication plans and research including investigator-initiated trials.
• Assist in scientific training for Commercial and internal colleagues.
• Support speaker training and advisory boards as needed.
• Represent Organon at national and regional medical meetings and at Medical Information activities.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests per policy.
