Job summary

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking medically trained candidates to join our Dermatology team as a Medical Assistant. This position is benefit-eligible, full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday and is based at our Broadway clinic, 2750 Broadway St., Boulder, CO 80304.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting a collaborative dermatology practice.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant education; certification preferred.
• Other medical training with active certification may substitute.
• Military medical training with documentation acceptable.
• College health-science coursework can substitute MA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and verify patient information; manage check-in/out.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, allergies, and assist exams.
• Maintain confidentiality in EMR and paper records.
• Prepare examination room and stock equipment.
• Document patient encounters in the medical record system.
