The position involves clinical support, documentation, procedure preparation and front-office duties, reporting to the Lead Medical Assistant and Regional Manager.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Medical assisting training or healthcare experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn EMR systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and work collaboratively.
• Availability for full-time on-site schedule.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and room patients; document medical histories, medications, allergies and visit reasons.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms, instruments and supplies.
• Assist providers during examinations, biopsies, minor procedures and cosmetic treatments.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR.
• Label, document, package and track specimens.
• Support prescription requests and patient instructions; handle follow-up communication.
• Perform blood draws after training and competency verification.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and equipment; follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain clinical supplies and skincare inventory; identify replenishment needs.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, calls and other duties.
• Protect patient privacy and ensure clear handoffs.
