Allina Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and nursing staff in delivering timely patient care at our Savage, MN location. Responsibilities include rooming patients, managing flow, assisting with specimens, injections and procedures, and EMR documentation.

Travel to Bloomington site may be required with mileage reimbursement. A Medical Assistant program completion and BLS certification are preferred; 1st-year candidates with externship experience may qualify.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare education program with similar clinical training.
• Current BLS certification from a recognized provider is preferred/s required.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and manage patient flow accurately.
• Assist with specimen collection, labeling and processing.
• Perform injections and assist with procedures as delegated by providers/RN.
• Maintain patient information in EMR and coordinate results with team.
• Support front desk tasks and patient registration as needed.
